Sample Submission Guidelines

It is imperative that direct contact with MAS Emissions Testing department staff be made prior to all product sample submissions. Specific guidelines exist that address acceptability parameters for sample age, sample packaging and sample size (based on test methodology and the type of product submitted).

Scheduling
The specific scheduling of all emission tests are contingent upon current sample back log at the time of submission, chamber availability, the length of the requested test and maximum sample hold times at the laboratory dictated by the test method.

Turn-Around Times
The turn-around times (TATs) necessary to complete chamber testing, analysis of tubes, identification and quantification of chemical compounds, modeling of data and reporting varies week to week based on backlog and current sample volumes. TATs typical for MAS are summarized below:
